To confirm participation in any trek, hike, yoga retreat, or adventure activity, full payment or a pre-defined advance amount is mandatory.
Same-Day Cancellation:
If you cancel your booking on the same day of payment, and the trek/event has not started, the amount will be refunded within 30 days.
This refund policy is applicable only to Indian clients.
No Refund Window:
No refund will be issued if the cancellation request is made after 1 calendar day from the booking date.
No-Show Policy:
If a participant fails to report on the scheduled departure date, no refund will be provided.
By booking with YogicTrail, the client confirms that they are physically and medically fit to participate in trekking, hiking, or high-altitude activities.
Clients must disclose any medical conditions (including asthma, heart conditions, high blood pressure, diabetes, or prior injuries) before the trek.
YogicTrail reserves the right to deny or discontinue participation if a client is deemed medically unfit, in the interest of safety.
No refunds will be issued in such cases.
Trekking in the Himalayas, including regions such as Uttarakhand, Chopta, Tungnath, and nearby areas, is subject to unpredictable conditions.
YogicTrail reserves the right to:
Modify, alter, postpone, or cancel the itinerary due to:
Weather conditions
Landslides
Road blockages
Natural disasters
Government restrictions
Any other Force Majeure events beyond our control
In such situations, no refunds will be provided.
An alternative route, trek, or date may be offered at our discretion.
The client acknowledges that trekking, hiking, camping, and adventure travel involve inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, altitude sickness, accidents, or loss of belongings.
YogicTrail, its organizers, guides, instructors, and staff shall not be held liable for:
Personal injury
Illness or death
Loss or damage of personal property
Clients are strongly advised to carry their own travel insurance and medical insurance.
Consumption of alcohol, drugs, or illegal substances during trekking or hiking activities is strictly prohibited.
YogicTrail follows a strict “Leave No Trace” policy.
Littering, plastic disposal, or environmental damage in the mountains is strictly forbidden.
Any behavior that is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or harmful to the group, staff, or environment may result in immediate termination of the trip.
No refund will be issued in such cases.
Clients may not directly hire or engage YogicTrail employees, guides, porters, or staff without prior written approval.
YogicTrail reserves the right to use photos or videos taken during treks or retreats for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes.
If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the trek leader at the start of the trip.
